Hi, I’m Scott Finch, a PADI Instructor based in Gran Canaria
Let me tell you a bit about myself. Originally from the UK, I work as an independent diving instructor, delivering personalised training for divers looking to progress beyond the basics.
Clients return to dive and train with me in Gran Canaria from Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and beyond.
Over 20 years of diving experience
My background is diverse. From commercial diving in the cold, deep waters of the UK, to owning and operating a PADI 5 Star dive centre here in Gran Canaria, to guiding divers around the world — like Sidemount diving in the renowned cave systems of Mexico.
I’ve also worked outside of diving as a firearms instructor and in the entertainment industry, bringing a broad range of experience, discipline and adaptability into my teaching.

As a freelance instructor, I deliver a full range of PADI courses in Gran Canaria, with a focus on Sidemount, Deep, Drysuit, Wreck and Technical diving training.
